Hello and thanks so much for visiting my website. Allow me to introduce myself...I'm Daphne. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Career Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and Global Career Development Facilitator with a Master's of Science Degree in Counseling and Development. I have spent the last 25+ years of my career helping people work through painful times and find their way to a safe path into a joyful and fulfilled life. My goal as a clinician is to assist people in HEALING and finding Peace, Success, Joy and Fulfillment in their lives and relationships.

I consider the areas of trauma survival, aggression management, professional development and parenting/family counseling to be my therapeutic specialties. The majority of my work splits into two distinct categories working with at-risk and traumatized adolescents and working with professionals to find their paths and develop leadership skills. I have experience working in correctional settings, schools, juvenile justice, residential and outpatient treatment programs, higher education, and with various leadership teams. My breadth of experience covers senior adults, couples, families, adults, adolescents, professionals, and group work. I assist clients with depression and anxiety, as well as have significant experience working with survivors of abuse (including sexual, physical, and emotional) and relationship violence. I am especially interested in working with couples to provide premarital counseling.

I provide in-person counseling at Rock Hill Counseling in Aubrey, Texas.  Rock Hill is a beautiful and serene farm environment that allows for experiential therapies, including Nature Immersion, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Movement Processing, and Animal Assisted Therapy. 

I utilize my previous training as a Certified Mental Health Specialist with the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) to provide Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Please see the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy tab above for more information on this exciting therapeutic modality!!

I utilize Headway for my "back-office" and am paneled with most insurances. I also take self-pay clients.
