Hello and thanks so much for visiting my website. Allow me to introduce myself...I'm Daphne. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Career Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, Global Career Development Facilitator and a SHRM Certified Professional with a Master's of Science Degree in Counseling and Development. I have spent the last 25+ years of my career helping people work through painful times and find their way to a safe path into a joyful and fulfilled life. My goal as a clinician is to assist people in finding Peace, Success, Joy and Fulfillment in their lives and relationships.

I consider the areas of trauma survival, aggression management, professional development and parenting/family counseling to be my therapeutic specialties. The majority of my work splits into two distinct categories working with at-risk and traumatized adolescents and working with professionals to find their paths and develop leadership skills. I have experience working in correctional settings, schools, juvenile justice, residential and outpatient treatment programs, higher education, and with various leadership teams. My breadth of experience covers senior adults, couples, families, adults, adolescents, professionals, and group work. I assist clients with depression and anxiety, as well as have significant experience working with survivors of abuse (including sexual, physical, and emotional) and relationship violence. I am especially interested in working with couples to provide premarital counseling.

For those who are less-inclined to working through situations in the office and would prefer to be outside processing emotional distress or behavioral problems, I provide Equine Assisted Psychotherapy at a barn in Sanger, TX.  I utilize my previous training as a Certified Mental Health Specialist with the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) to provide Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
